Scope of application: Suitable for determining the Engler viscosity E" (conditional degree) of carbon black feedstock oil (ethylene tar), and for determining the Engler viscosity of washing oil obtained from the fractional distillation of high-temperature coal tar.
Engler viscosity is applicable to determining the ratio of the time (in seconds) it takes for a liquid to flow out of an Engler viscometer under conditions of a certain temperature and volume to the time (in seconds) it takes for distilled water to flow out at 20℃; this ratio is the Engler viscosity of the liquid, with the unit being Engler degree.
